SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
As a real estate company, CeGeREAL is careful to manage its portfolio in line with the most recent environmental criteria.
Therefore CeGeREAL has launched different initiatives which will generate an impact in the short- and the long-run.
For the management of its property rentals, CeGeREAL relies on Yxime, which has adopted a Sustainable Development Charter in order to:
- Anticipate and control likely risks (flood, fire, theft, etc.) for the management staff and tenants by means of audits and communication bulletins;
- Analyse and check any applicable regulatory and legal changes already in force or due to come, as well as their likely impact on the buildings;
- Contribute to environmental protection by promoting energy saving measures (consumption control, heat insulation analysis, etc.) and pollution prevention (waste recycling, reduction in the use of toxic chemical substances, etc.);
- Improve the quality of life and the security of personnel (asbestos, lead, water quality, Legionnaires’ Disease, etc.).
This Charter goes towards facilitating the best response to the demands for sustainable development of CeGeREAL’s stakeholders and, notably, the preservation of the Company’s assets in the long term.
The company participates also in different gatherings or associations such as the AUDE (Association des utilisateurs de La Défense), which interact with regulation authorities in defining improvement possibilities for the existing buildings.
